Five Things You Need To Know (When Studying for the Bar Exam)

  1. You need to have at least two to three months to properly prepare for the exam. If you plan on writing the Barristers and Solicitors exams at the same time, more time may be needed.
  2. Writing the Bar Exam is like preparing for a marathon. You need to take care of yourself physically and mentally, so that your body and mind will be able to assimilate the materials.
  3.  Every person studies at a different pace. Don’t let other people’s opinions influence your studying habits or your opinion of your abilities. This is a serious exam which grants access to the practice of law.  It is not to be taken lightly.
  4.  Reading the materials is not enough. You must fully understand the concepts discussed in the materials.
  5. Having an experienced tutor who can help you understand the materials is an important part of getting the results you want.
